Twin Ridge Case Study for Urban Land Institute

Twin Ridge Affordable Housing was built in 1990 in Aspen, Colorado.  The project consists of a mix of 13 single family homes and 12 townhomes and were sold with deed restrictions to long-term, middle income area residents and employees.   The project was undertaken as a joint effort between a private-sector development manager, who provided development services on a contract basis, and the local public housing authority.Twenty-two years later, local families are able to live where they work and send their children to school.
